The Victorian Doctors Health Program (VDHP) is a confidential service for doctors and medical students who have health concerns such as stress, mental health problems, substance use problems, or any other health issues.

Sensitive to the needs of doctors and medical students, they are a non-judgmental service dedicated to improving the health and well being of those within the profession.

AMA Peer Support Program

The AMA Victoria Peer Support Service provides you with a listening colleague who understands the pressures of medicine. It is anonymous & confidential.

There is no charge for using the AMA Victoria Peer Support Service.

All volunteer telephone counsellors are experienced doctors trained in the skills of peer support telephone counselling and have broad experience in medical practice that represent a wide range of specialities. All counsellors are Lifeline accredited.
