Applications for 2019 Intern Positions – Apply through PMCV Only
Monash Health Application Requirements – PMCV Only
All Intern applicants must only register with PMCV Computer Matching Service before 1 June 2018
Successfully matched candidates will be contacted post PMCV Matching process concludes and provided with a link to Monash Health Recruitment system to provide other documentation not already collected in the PMCV matching registration process.
Monash Health will not conduct Intern interviews in 2018
Important Dates – Intern Match 2018
Intern Groups
Intern Group 1
- Australian permanent resident graduates of Victorian universities including domestic full fee paying students and New Zealand citizens (such as graduates of University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University and University of Notre Dame: Melbourne Clinical School).
Intern Group 2
- Australian temporary resident graduates of Victorian universities
Intern Group 3
- Australian permanent resident graduates of interstate or New Zealand universities (including previous residents of Victoria)
- Australian temporary resident graduates of interstate universities
- New Zealand temporary resident graduates of New Zealand universities
- Graduates from an overseas campus of an Australian/New Zealand University accredited by the Australian Medical Council (e.g. Monash University – Sunway Campus, Malaysia)

- Read our 2019 Intern FAQs and 2019 Intern Application Guidelines
- Familiarise yourself with the Intern Position Description
- Register online for the computer match with the PMCV by the PMCV deadline
- Arrange for references via the PMCV online referee process by the PMCV deadline
- Submit your Candidates Priority List (CPL) to PMCV
Application Process
Once the PMCV Matching process concludes. Monash Health will be in contact with matched candidates, to obtain documents not already provided in the PMCV registration process. These include the following:
- Your Unique PMCV Candidate number & Medical Intern Placement Number (MIPN) when prompted during the application process
- Completed Fit2Work Consent form
- 100 points of certified identification (as per the Fit2Work guidelines).
Note: The Fit2work consent form and certified identification should be scanned as one document and attached in the specified field. Should the document be too large, you can separate the consent form from the identification documents and save the identification documents into the ‘Other Documentation’ field. - Academic Results if you are not from a Victorian University (a copy is fine – does not need to be a certified transcript)
