JMS Education and Training Committee

The JMS Education and Training Committee is a representative group of prevocational doctors, Monash Doctors Education staff, the IQMO and the Medical Administration Registrar. The group meets regularly to discuss issues regarding medical education including access, program design and implementation, and evaluation. Achievements for 2019 include representation at the PMCV JMO Forum, review of both the Intern and HMO Orientation Programs, updating Unit Handbooks and ROVERs for all units, presenting at both Intern Teaching and 2020 Intern Orientation.

Achievements for 2018 include doubling our representation at the PMCV JMO Forum, collaboration on the Doctor Support Framework, presenting at the ANZPMEF Conference, the Intern Check-in Initiative, review of both the Intern and HMO Orientation Programs and attendance at the Health care Education 2.0 Transforming your teaching for the digital age course.
