Medical Grand Rounds
Education is highly valued by all medical staff. We hope that Medical Grand Rounds will assist in expanding and updating our knowledge and contribute to attracting and retaining excellent doctors at Monash Health.
There are 3 types of Grand Rounds:

Excellence in clinical practice – Practical updates on best practice for important medical conditions with broad relevance that have changed substantially over the last 5years or so.

Clinical conundrums – Complex case (diagnostic or management dilemmas) involving a number of specialty units, highlighting ‘key learning points’ for other physicians

Specialty showcase – More research focused.
Regular Medical Grand Round sessions are held online via Teams on Wednesdays 12.30pm – 1.30pm. Medical Grand Rounds are created for medical staff but are open to all Monash Health employees.
